Labeler System Options

Low Level with Auto Shut-Off Feature and Column Light

This custom option monitors the following:

  • A/C Power to the labeler
  • Labeler on/off switch is in the ON position
  • Labeler Auto /Jog switch is in the Auto position
  • The labeler has not alarmed due to labels not going thru the label sensor (out of labels)
  • Column light turns on when system is in fault

If any of the above conditions are not met, the labeler opens a dry contact relay which is connected to the parent machine to indicate that the labels are not being applied to the product. This contact is typically used to shut down the parent machine.

This option also monitors that there is a roll of label product on the supply spool with at least 1/8” of labels left on the core. If label holder is either missing or very close to running out, the labeler closes a dry contact relay which is connected to the parent machine to indicate that the labels are about to run out. This contact is typically used to turn on an alarm on the parent machine. In conjunction with the signal to the parent machine being actuated, the labeler turns on an amber beacon light which can be remotely mounted in a location that is easily visible to the operator. NOTE: this is NOT a “label on product verification system”

Air Pressure Switch

This is an addition to the above packaging which adds low or no air pressure to the “shut down” conditions. This monitors if there is no air pressure present at the labeler air pressure regulator for pressure sensitive labeling.

Quick Disconnect Package

This package includes a 110v receptacle for A/C power, an air quick disconnect, and a parent cord connection to allow easy movement of a label head to a different parent machine which must also be equipped with the quick disconnect package. Note: This allows relocation of the label head. If the labeler is of the type that utilizes a remote mounted nose and peeler bar assembly, the second machine will also require those items to be installed to accomplish quick relocation.

Skip Product Function

This package allows the customer to label every other package, every third package, etc. This requires the addition of a separate control box to incorporate the counter relay and display.

Clear Label Sensor Package

This package utilizes a capacitive sensor which allows the customer to use clear labels with no printing in the area to be sensed.

Tamp Applicator System

Utilizes air cylinder to move applicators to product package and tamp the label in place.

Custom Applicators for specific labels (shipping, color, round, blank, foil, waterproof, etc.)

Custom Designs including product handling systems, thermal transfer labeling systems, print labeler software, etc.
